Hello! On behalf of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc., Theta Alpha Zeta Chapter, welcome to our website. Theta Alpha Zeta Chapter has served the Greater Rochester area for more than four decades and we remain committed to contributing to the betterment of our community. As President of Theta Alpha Zeta Chapter, I am excited to lead Theta Alpha Zeta's charge to improve the lives of residents in Monroe County.

In Greater Rochester, we strive to make a difference by enacting Zeta Phi Beta's national projects locally. We help our neighbors by way of Zeta Phi Beta initiatives including the Z-HOPE Project (Zetas Helping Other People Excel), collaborative partnerships with the March of Dimes and American Cancer Society and our local partnerships that help to improve the lives of youth, elders and families.

Zetas Helping Other People Excel also known as Z-HOPE™ is the National Service Program of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, incorporated.

Z-HOPE™ is a combination of interactive, holistic, and multidimensional outreach programs designed to enhance, cultivate, and empower participants to develop health-promoting lifestyle choices across their lifespan. Specific to the population groups; Women, Youth, Seniors, Men, and International Women of Color. Z-HOPE™ promises to provide culturally appropriate activities in the communities we live in to empower and promote HOPE (Helping Other People Excel).

STORK'S NEST

Health of Babies & Mothers

Stork’s Nest aims to increase the number of women receiving early and regular prenatal care to prevent cases of low birth weight, premature births and infant deaths.

The program is designed to promote prenatal care participation and encourage healthy behaviors during pregnancy through two components-incentives and education. Find a Stork's Nest location with locator button.

The Amicae auxiliary provides an opportunity for professional women who do not have a college degree to be affiliated with Zeta and assist the sorority with providing positive, proactive, and far-reaching community service, both nationally and internationally. We invite you to consider joining us.

Amicettes are girls 9 to 13 years of age who are willing to strive toward the high ideals of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., and who demonstrate potential for leadership in service to the community. Amicettes are affiliated through local chapters.
